I can do this by myself

Last weekend we rented a house with some great friends up in Flagstaff AZ for a little fun in the snow. There were 6 kids and 6 adults. We had a wonderful time and the kids enjoyed playing together.

There wasn't a lot of snow in Flag but we did manage to find some (and managed to get our truck stuck in the snow but that is another story). This was the first time that the girls had been in the snow and they had so much fun. Caroline was a little scared at first to sled down the hill but after about 2 times she was ready to do it on her own and must have gone down about 20 times. She laughed her amazing laugh and had the time of her life.

Gabriella of course has no fear and will do anything - daddy made sure to stay close to that one as she can't be trusted. She is fearless!

SHE'S BACK IN HER CRIB

Well, that didn't last long - actually it only lasted 3 nights but I am just now getting to posting. Couldn't keep her in the bed - she came into our room each night in the middle of the night with that sweet little voice saying "mommy" as she stood by my side of the bed. The first night it took 3 hours 1:30am-4:30am to get her back to sleep (finally in our bed). The 2nd night it took 1 hour (finally asleep in our bed) and the 3rd night 1 hour and finally asleep in her bed with me falling asleep on the floor besides her. None of us are ready for nights like that - she is typically a 11-12 hour a night girl. Daddy put the crib pieces back on and was actually able to lower the bed a little more so that it is difficult for her to get out. Oh yes, she can get out - she has done it but it is harder so she doesn't try as hard or for as long.

Looks like we have a few more months in the crib. She is also going pee-pee in the potty - she has done it about 3 times and is very proud of herself. We are not pushing it on a regular basis but we are putting her on the potty each day.
